  1. At first glance you’ll see a database labeled “this week” which will show all the meals that are ready to eat. Either prepped beforehand or ready to assemble.
  2. The ‘Next Week Prep Section’ takes you step-by-step, including links to any databases needed and instructions to trigger all automations. It will walk you through browsing the Recipes database and marking which recipes you want to eat next week (including surfacing which recipes you can make with ingredients you already have on hand).
  3. Once next week’s menu is decided, there’s a little work to be done. A table labeled ‘Next Week’s Ingredients’ is at the bottom of the page right below a view of all recipes marked as “Next Week.” This is a place to write down the exact amount needed for each ingredient for all recipes. The purpose of this is two-fold: to help gauge how much of the ingredient needs to be purchased and to help speed up prep when cooking. Check out How-To | Meal Plan for step-by-step guide on how to accomplish this.
  4. The first steps can be done at any time, but should be completed before you’re ready to shop and prep the meals. Once you are ready to shop, hit the provided button to automatically add needed ingredients to your shopping list.
  5. After shopping, you can add a picture of your receipt and input the details in the Receipts database (more details in About | Receipts)
  6. The final step is to prepare all meals. Either by cooking them all and storing in fridge or preparing the ingredients as much as possible for quick assembly during the week. Use the ‘Next Week’s Ingredients’ database to help you quickly
  7. Only once that is complete, you can hit the “New Week” button that will run automations to clear the current week’s information and transfer what had been labeled “Next Week” as “This Week.”
