An inventory of all ingredients purchased or that have been purchased in the past. With the diligence of keeping this list up-to-date, you should be able to know what you have at home at any time/place.

🗺️ How to Use

- Use the “All” tab to scroll through a list of all ingredients (or add ingredients that have never been purchased before or at least not entered into the database). The page for that ingredient can remain blank or, say if it’s purchased online, you can drop the link in there or any notes about the ingredient you would like to make.
- Change the status to show wether the ingredient is “In-Stock,” “Out of Stock,” or on the “Shopping List”
- A list of recipes that use this ingredient will be listed. This is automatically populated from when you How-to | Add a Recipe.
- The final property is the food group, meant to help sort the “shopping list” by like items while grocery shopping.
- Additional Views are primarily used for automations, but can also help you when you are deciding next week’s menu.
- There are two ways to add new ingredients to the database (see How-to | Add a New Ingredient for more details and tips).

- A database of ingredients that includes the item (where you can write the name of the ingredient), the status (to mark “In Stock,” “Out of Stock” “or Shopping List,” an auto-populated list of recipes the ingredient is used in, and a tag for what food group it belongs.
- Additional Views will sort by:
- “This Week:” All ingredients that are included in Recipes marked as “This Week” (i.e., these are all the ingredients you’re eating this week.
- “Next Week:” All ingredients that are used in Recipes marked as “Next Week” (i.e., these are all the ingredients you will need to prepare for next week). This view includes the current status.
- “In Stock:” Will only show the ingredients you have on hand
- “Food Groups:” All ingredients regardless of status or property, sorted by food group.
